At Jocelyn Cares, our belief is that everyone has the right to choose the way in which they would like to be cared for and supported.
We provide Domiciliary care to people living in their own homes. Individuals privacy and their dignity as well as remaining independent is very important to us.
Jocelyn Cares Domiciliary Ltd is owned by Jocelyn Owusu Asabere who has been a care home manager for the mentally ill for years. She decided to start her own domiciliary care agency because she wanted to give back to her community the quality care that she has gained throughout her care carrier as a carer and also as a care home manager. Having been a carer herself attending to people in their own homes, she felt she could deliver good and quality care to the elderly and the disabled and will ensure her staff are trained to do the same. Jocelyn has been able to achieve a 'Good' rating from the Care Quality Commission through her hardworking and perseverance

KEY AIMS
-To ensure that care packages comply with time scales and are deliverable.
-To ensure all staff being sent out have the necessary training before they start work.
-To provide a service of high standard care.
-To enable customers to live within their own home with support.
-To carry out health and safety risk assessments before our staff commence work in customers’ homes.
-To undertake quality assessments of needs and to exercise quality care management.
-To involve family and friends with consent from our customers

Our policy is that our customers are entitled to their privacy. All information that a customer does not wish for it to be shared must be kept privately and their wishes respected.
We have a policy on this, and all members of staff are to read and sign before they commence work with Jocelyn Cares Agency.
